Layer selfie
you only see the outside
When you go out into public, not everyone knows you, and what you have or haven’t been through. They only see your human existence. Everyone has much different hobbies, beliefs, and ways of life. When this assignment was assigned, my thought was that it is meant to describe a little bit about us. Whether it’s hobbies, a collector, or just things that describe you well. Everyones layer selfie is so much different because, well, everyone is so much different!
The medal on my selfie represents what I love most: diving. This coming year will be my fifth year diving. Diving means everything to me. I dive five times a week, four hours each day. I myself am impressed with how much I love it! My second layer are flowers. I absolutely love flowers. They’re so delicate, yet bold. They can brighten any gloomy mood. The third layer is a “Go Blue” dog collar. I love going to Michigan football games. The fourth layer, piano keys, describe me because I have been taking piano lessons since i was eight years old. Whenever I sort of want to stop piano I never do because my grandpa always wanted to take piano when he was a child, but his family could not afford it. And, the last layer was a dog bowl, because my dog means the whole world to me… and his food means the whole world to him.
Please do not look at someone you see on the street and assume things about them. You do not know what they are or aren’t going through. You only see the outside.
