The first final photo of mine was taken in the Saginaw forest. I chose to take pictures here because it has always been a commonly visited place for me. My mom and I like to run in the forest, because it beautiful. In elementary school, my class would go to Saginaw forest several times. Also, my dogs absolutely love it here. We let them off their leashes and they run down the path, then back up to us, having the time of their life. Every time I have come to Saginaw forest it has been a happy experience, and that is why I took photographs here, to capture the natural beauty of it.
One of my next final photos was taken up north, of lake Leelanau. We went up over the weekend to see how construction was going, so, I took a couple pictures. During the summer my family and friends stay basically the whole summer up north. It’s so much fun, there’s so much to do! I found it a little bit hard taking this picture, because I couldn’t get any boats in the picture. This picture conveys that I enjoy being on the lake.
The last photo I chose for my final is taken in Bandamer Park, on the Huron River. I took photos of the Huron River because my old dogs, Zeke and Alex, used to absolutely love coming here to swim. They lived until they were fifteen and sixteen years old, so, they were my family since I was born. We had to put Zeke down because he had developed stomach cancer, and it was already too late to treat. About one year later, we ended up putting Alex down, because of terrible arthritis in his hips and depression from losing his brother. I miss them dearly, but coming here is like reliving amazing memories with them.
